About this banknote
The Government of Ukraine issued the 2,000,000 karbovantsiv compensation certificate in 1992. This certificate was introduced to compensate citizens for monetary savings in the Savings Bank of Ukraine and insurance payments in the former Ukrderzhstrakh, as per the Presidential Decree No. 698/94 dated November 24, 1994.
