The front of the banknote features an image of Lybid, the sister of Kyiv's founding brothers, from the monument commemorating the city's establishment. The reverse side displays the Cathedral of St. Sophia in Kyiv. The banknote measures 105 × 53 mm and lacks serial numbers or official signatures. It was withdrawn from circulation on October 1, 1994.
