About this banknote
The Bank of Estonia (Eesti Pank) issued the 50 krooni banknote in 1929 as part of the 1928–1940 series. This series was introduced following the Money Act of May 3, 1927, which established the kroon as Estonia's official currency.
The front of the note features a depiction of the limestone cliffs along the Rannamõisa coastline, with boats on the shore. The reverse displays the Estonian coat of arms with three lions in the upper left corner, accompanied by floral and guilloche patterns. The banknote measures 158 x 100 mm and was printed by the State Printing Office (Riigi Trükikoda) in Tallinn.
