About this banknote
The Bank of Estonia (Eesti Pank) issued the 10 Krooni banknote in 1928 as part of its inaugural series of the Estonian kroon currency. This series was introduced to establish a stable national currency following Estonia's declaration of independence in 1918.
The front of the note features a woman in traditional Estonian attire holding a sheaf of wheat and a sickle, symbolizing agriculture. The reverse displays the national coat of arms with three lions. The banknote measures 130 x 80 mm and was printed by the State Printing Office in Tallinn, Estonia. A total of 5,450,000 notes were produced.
