About this banknote

The Eesti Pank issued the 50 Krooni banknote in 1929 as part of the Bank Notes of 1929 series. This series was introduced following the establishment of the First Estonian Kroon in 1928, which aimed to stabilize the national economy and replace the earlier Estonian Mark.

The front side of the banknote features a landscape view, which reflects the natural scenery of Estonia. This note has the Pick number 65s. It bears the signatures of the bank's president and director from that period. These notes circulated during the period of 1928 to 1940 until they were eventually phased out.
