About this banknote
The Bank of Estonia (Eesti Pank) issued the 20 Krooni banknote in 1932 as part of the 1928–1940 series. This series was introduced following the Monetary Law of May 3, 1927, which established the kroon as Estonia's official currency.
The obverse features a shepherd blowing a horn, accompanied by two sheep and two cows on the left side. The reverse displays the Estonian coat of arms in the upper left corner. The banknote measures 140 x 85 mm and was printed by the State Printing Office (Riigi Trükikoda) in Tallinn. It was demonetized on March 25, 1941.
