About this banknote
The Central Bank of Bolivia issued the 1,000 bolivianos banknote in 1945, following the enactment of the law on December 20, 1945. This series was introduced to standardize the national currency and facilitate higher denomination transactions.
The obverse features a portrait of Simón Bolívar on the right and the national coat of arms on the left, with the denomination prominently displayed in the center.
