The Central Bank of Sri Lanka issued the 100 rupees banknote (Pick 111c) on July 1, 2004. This release was part of a series introduced between 1995 and 2006, with the 2004 issue being the third in this sequence.
The obverse features a bell and a decorative urn. The reverse displays flowers, Sigiriya Rock, tea leaf pickers, and parrots. The note measures 144 x 72 mm and was printed by De La Rue.
