About this banknote
The Central Bank of Sri Lanka issued the 10 Rupees banknote (Pick 108e) on November 19, 2005, as part of the 1995 series. This series featured enhanced security measures, including an enhanced latent image security feature at the lower center of the obverse side.
The obverse side of the banknote displays a Sinhalese Chinze at the right. The reverse side features a painted stork at the top left, the Presidential Secretariat building in Colombo, and flowers in the lower foreground. The watermark is a Chinze. The note measures 122 x 61 mm and was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited.
