About this banknote
The Central Bank of Venezuela issued the 10 bolívares banknote (Pick 50) in 1973 as part of a series introduced between 1971 and 1979. This series was produced by the British security printing company Thomas De La Rue & Company Limited.
The obverse features a portrait of Simón Bolívar on the left and Francisco de Miranda on the right. The reverse displays the National Pantheon at the center and the national coat of arms on the left. The note measures 156 × 69 mm and was demonetized on January 31, 2006.
