The Central Bank of the Argentine Republic (Banco Central de la República Argentina) issued the 500 pesos banknote in 1974, under Decreto-Ley 18.188/69. This series was introduced as part of the ND (1973-1976) "Decreto-Ley 18.188/69" issue.
