The front of the note features a portrait of Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, a renowned Mexican nun and writer, accompanied by books, an inkwell with two quills, and a library window. The reverse depicts the Hacienda de Panoaya, where Sor Juana spent part of her childhood, along with a fountain and views of the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanoes. The note measures 141 x 66 mm and is printed on a hybrid substrate combining paper and polymer for increased durability.
