About this banknote
The Bank of Zambia issued the 100 kwacha banknote (Pick 38) in 1992. This series was introduced to accommodate higher denominations necessitated by inflation during that period.

The reverse displays a water buffalo head facing left, Victoria Falls at the center, and the "Chainbreaker" statue at the center right. The banknote measures 140 x 70 mm and was printed by Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited.
