About this banknote

The State Bank of the Russian Empire issued the 10 Rubles State Credit Note (Pick A57) between 1887 and 1892, during the reign of Emperor Alexander III. This series was introduced to standardize the currency system and facilitate economic transactions within the empire.

The obverse of the 1890 10 Rubles note features the imperial coat of arms on the left and the monogram of Alexander III on the right. The reverse displays the imperial coat of arms at the center.
