The Ministry of the Treasury of Italy issued the 10 Lire banknote (Pick 32) on November 23, 1944. This issuance was part of the post-World War II effort to stabilize the Italian economy and replace the Allied Military Currency (AM-lira) introduced during the Allied occupation.
