About this banknote
The Banco Central de Venezuela issued the 10 bolívares banknote (Pick 62) on June 5, 1995. This release marked the final issuance of this denomination before it was demonetized on January 31, 2006.
The obverse features a portrait of Simón Bolívar on the left and Antonio José de Sucre on the right, both in military attire. The reverse displays the Monument to Carabobo at the center and the Venezuelan coat of arms on the right. The banknote measures 156 x 69 mm and was printed by the American Bank Note Company.
