The Banco Central de la República Argentina issued the 50 centavos banknote (Pick 259b) in 1951. This series was introduced under Law 12,962 and Law 13,571, which authorized the issuance of new banknotes during that period.
The obverse features a brown design with the effigy of Liberty on the left.
