About this banknote
The First Republic of Armenia issued the 25 rubles banknote in 1919. This note was part of a series introduced to establish a national currency following Armenia's declaration of independence on May 28, 1918. The banknotes were designed by artists Arshak Fetvadjian and Hakob Kojoyan and printed by Waterlow and Sons Ltd. in London.
