The Central Bank of Bolivia (Banco Central de Bolivia) issued the 10,000 Pesos Bolivianos banknote in 1987. This note was part of the final series of the peso boliviano currency, which was replaced by the boliviano on January 1, 1987, at a conversion rate of 1 boliviano to 1 million pesos bolivianos.

The front of the banknote features a portrait of Marshal Andrés de Santa Cruz on the right and the Bolivian coat of arms in dark green at the center. The reverse depicts the Legislative Palace at the center. The note measures 155 x 66 mm and was printed by Bundesdruckerei in Berlin, Germany.
