About this banknote

The Central Bank of Turkey issued the 10,000 Turkish Lira banknote (Pick 200) on February 22, 1993. This note was part of the E7 Emission Group, IV. Series, and was introduced to meet the country's increasing currency demands. It was withdrawn from circulation on December 15, 1995, and ceased to be legal tender on December 16, 2005.

The obverse features a portrait of President Mustafa Kemal Atatürk. The reverse displays a portrait of the architect Mimar Sinan alongside the Selimiye Mosque in Edirne, one of his renowned works. The banknote measures 146 x 72 mm and was printed on white paper. The total quantity printed was 2,322,940,000,000 Turkish Lira.
