The front features a portrait of a man from Andrea del Castagno's painting "Ritratto d'uomo" at the left, with the winged lion of St. Mark above the shields of Genoa, Pisa, and Amalfi. The back displays architectural elements from the Church of Gesù Nuovo in Naples. The watermark mirrors the front portrait.
