About this banknote
The Banco de México issued the 100 pesos banknote (Pick 74c) on March 25, 1982. This note was part of the 1969–1991 Fourth Issues series, which featured various designs and denominations.
The front of the banknote displays a portrait of Venustiano Carranza on the left and José Clemente Orozco's 1926 mural "La Trinchera" at the center. The back features a Toltec Chac Mool sculpture at the center, with bas-relief sculptures from the Tula archaeological site in the background. The note measures 155 x 66 mm and was printed by the Banco de México.
