About this banknote
The Bank of Spain issued the 100 pesetas banknote on July 15, 1907. This series was printed by Bradbury Wilkinson & Company Ltd. of London.
The obverse features a seated female allegory on the left and a medallic male portrait at the center. The reverse depicts the Cathedral of Seville. During the Second Republic in 1931, the government revalidated these banknotes by adding a dry stamp in the upper right corner of the obverse.
