About this banknote
The Banco Nacional de Cuba issued the 10 pesos banknote (Pick 104) in 1968 as part of a series introduced between 1967 and 1971. This series was produced by the State Printer of Securities in Prague, Czechoslovakia, known as STC-P, without an imprint on the notes.
The front of the banknote features a portrait of Máximo Gómez at the center, with the denomination displayed only at the left. The back depicts Fidel Castro addressing a crowd in 1960. The note measures 150 x 70 mm and is printed in brown on tan with a yellow underprint. It is signed by the Presidente del Banco on the left and the Ministro de Hacienda on the right.
