About this banknote
The Banco Central de Chile issued the 10 Pesos banknote (Pick 120) between 1958 and 1959. This series was introduced during a period when the peso was the national currency, prior to its replacement by the escudo on January 1, 1960.
The obverse of the note features a red-brown portrait of Manuel Bulnes, Chile's president from 1841 to 1851, positioned to the right. The reverse is brown and displays the seal of the Banco Central de Chile. The banknote measures 145 x 70 mm and was printed by the Casa de Moneda de Chile.
