The Central Bank of Chile (Banco Central de Chile) issued this 10 Pesos banknote on December 10, 1925, as part of its first provisional series. This series was introduced following the establishment of the Central Bank in 1925, replacing the previous Treasury Directorate notes.
The obverse features a seated woman with a shield on the left and the overprinted seal of the Central Bank of Chile on the right. Overprints include the new bank name at the top, the face value in Condores below the old denomination, the issuing date below the central figure, a bar overprint on "por el Estado," and "BILLETE PROVISIONAL" at the center. The reverse displays geometric designs in green on white paper. The note measures 150 × 80 mm and was printed by Imprenta Fiscal in Santiago de los Caballeros, Chile.
