About this banknote
The Republic of Artsakh's Ministry of Finance issued the 10 dram banknote in 2004. This series was introduced to establish a distinct currency for the region, with the banknotes printed by the Austrian State Printing House (Österreichische Staatsdruckerei).
The obverse features Jesus Christ holding the Gospels and raising his hand in benediction, alongside the Dadivank Monastery in the Shahumian district. The reverse displays the ancient Hudaferin Bridge, a wine barrel with a bunch of grapes, and a Karabakh carpet.
