The obverse features a portrait of Getúlio Dornelles Vargas, who served as President of Brazil from 1930 to 1945 and from 1951 to 1954, centered within an ornate frame and flanked by the numeral "10" on both sides. The reverse displays an allegorical figure representing National Unity, symbolizing Brazil's industrial development. This banknote was demonetized on February 12, 1967.
