About this banknote
The Central Bank of Bolivia (Banco Central de Bolivia) issued the 10 bolivianos banknote in 1987, following the enactment of Law 901 on November 28, 1986, which introduced the second boliviano currency. This series was printed by F.C. Oberthur in France.
The obverse features a portrait of artist Cecilio Guzmán de Rojas on the right and the Bolivian coat of arms at the lower left. The reverse displays the "Heroínas de la Coronilla" monument on the left and a view of Cochabamba city in the center. The banknote includes a watermark of Simón Bolívar and a solid security thread at the center right.
