About this banknote
The issuing authority for this banknote was the State Bank of the USSR. The Early Chervonets series was introduced in 1922. This series was part of economic measures undertaken during the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic (RSFSR) to stabilize the currency after the Russian Civil War.
