The Allied Military Government for Occupied Territories issued the 100 francs banknote (Pick 118) in 1944 during the liberation of France. Printed by Forbes Lithograph Manufacturing Co. in Boston, these notes were introduced on June 6, 1944, to provide a stable currency in the newly liberated regions.
