About this banknote

The front of the banknote displays Al-Azhar Mosque and its minarets in Cairo. A Pharaonic cartouche appears at the bottom right corner, and a drawing from the façade of a Pharaonic temple is on the left side. The watermark is the mask of King Tutankhamun.
