The Banco Nacional de Cuba issued the 5 pesos banknote (Pick 103) in 1986. This series, printed by Státní Tiskárna Cenin, measures 150 x 70 mm.
The obverse features a central portrait of Antonio Maceo within an oval frame, with the bank's name above and the denomination in all four corners. The reverse depicts a scene of rebel soldiers during the Invasión of September-October 1958. This note was demonetized on June 1, 2003.
