The front of the 1992 10,000 pesos note features a portrait of naval hero Arturo Prat in uniform, based on a lithograph by Luis Fernando Rojas created shortly after the Battle of Iquique in May 1879. The reverse depicts the Hacienda San Agustín de Puñual, Prat's birthplace. The note measures 145 x 70 mm and is printed on cotton paper.
