The front of the banknote features a portrait of Arturo Prat, a Chilean naval hero. The reverse depicts Hacienda San Agustín de Puñual in Ninhue, the birthplace of Prat. The note measures 145 x 70 mm and includes a watermark of Arturo Prat. It was printed by Casa de Moneda de Chile and bears the signatures of Andrés Bianchi Larre and Julio Acevedo Acuña.
