About this banknote
The Bank of Spain issued the 1000 pesetas banknote on August 15, 1928. This series was printed by Bradbury Wilkinson & Co. in New Malden, Surrey, England. The note was signed by Governor Carlos Vergara Cailleaux, Comptroller Adolfo Castaño Orejón, and Cashier Bonifacio Burgos Delgado.
