The front of the banknote features a portrait of Portuguese poet Luiz Vaz de Camões on the right and the Portuguese Angolan National Coat of Arms in the center. The reverse side depicts the Kalandula waterfalls. The banknote measures 158 x 80 mm and includes a watermark of Luiz de Camões. It was printed by Bradbury Wilkinson and Company in the United Kingdom.
