The National Bank of Belgium issued the 100 franc banknote (Pick 134) between 1962 and 1975. The note was first released on December 6, 1962, during the reign of King Baudouin I.
The obverse features a portrait of Lambert Lombard, a 16th-century Belgian painter and architect, on the left side. The reverse depicts the interior courtyard of the Palace of the Prince-Bishops in Liège, with a statue of Orpheus by Lombard. The banknote measures 138 x 69 mm and was demonetized on June 11, 1981.
