About this banknote
The Région Économique d'Algérie issued the 50 centimes banknote (Pick 100) on January 31, 1944, during the French administration of Algeria. This second issue, indicated by the "2e T." overprint on the front, was printed by Imprimerie Jules Carbonel in Algiers.
