The Central Bank of Kenya issued the 10 Shillings banknote (Pick 20f) on July 1, 1987. This series, introduced in 1981, featured the portrait of President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, who succeeded Jomo Kenyatta in 1978. The 1987 issue bears the signatures of Ndegwa and Mbindyo.
