The Central Bank of Turkey (Türkiye Cumhuriyet Merkez Bankası) issued the 10 Turkish Lira banknote (Pick 147a) on February 17, 1947, as part of the E4 Emission Group. This series was printed by the American Banknote Corporation in the United States.
The obverse features a portrait of President İsmet İnönü on the right side. The reverse depicts the Sultan Ahmed III Fountain in Istanbul. The banknote measures 165 x 75 mm and was demonetized on June 2, 1962.
