About this banknote
The Bulgarian National Bank issued the 10 leva banknote in 1903. This series was introduced during the reign of King Ferdinand I, who ruled from 1887 to 1918. The banknote was printed by Goznak, the Russian state printing office established in 1818.
The obverse features a vignette with the figure "50" in the center, accompanied by inscriptions in Cyrillic script. The reverse displays the Bulgarian coat of arms at the upper center. The banknote measures 142 × 90 mm and was demonetized on May 5, 1924.
