The front of the note features the "Big Six" leaders of Ghana's independence: Kwame Nkrumah, Ebenezer Ako-Adjei, Edward Akufo-Addo, Joseph Boakye Danquah, Emmanuel Obetsebi-Lamptey, and William Ofori Atta. It also displays the Independence Arch in Accra, the national coat of arms, and a star. The reverse side depicts the Bank of Ghana headquarters building. Printed by De La Rue, the note measures 145 x 71 mm and includes a windowed security thread with demetalized "GHANA 10" for enhanced security.
