About this banknote
The National Bank of Azerbaijan issued the 1 manat banknote in 2005 as part of the "New Manat" series, which was introduced on January 1, 2006. This series was designed by Robert Kalina and printed by Oesterreichische Banknoten- und Sicherheitsdruck GmbH in Vienna, Austria.
