The Nationalbank in Copenhagen issued the 50 Kroner banknote in 1928. This note is part of the series introduced between 1911 and 1928, designed by Gerhard Heilmann. The series was demonetized on July 26, 1945.
The obverse features three fishermen in a boat pulling in a net, surrounded by ornamentation of hops. The reverse displays the crowned National Coat of Arms surrounded by oak branches to the left and beech to the right. The banknote measures 156 x 100 mm and was printed by Danmarks Nationalbank.
