The Narodowy Bank Polski issued the 100 złotych banknote (Pick 176) on 25 March 1994. This note was part of a series introduced in the mid-1990s, following Poland's economic reforms and the redenomination of its currency.
The front of the banknote features a portrait of King Władysław II Jagiełło at the center right, with stylized Gothic ornamentation in the background. The reverse side displays the White Eagle on a shield from the king's tombstone, accompanied by a Teutonic helmet, mantle, two swords, and the outline of the Malbork Castle. The note measures 138 x 69 mm and was designed by Andrzej Heidrich.
