The National Bank of Poland (Narodowy Bank Polski) issued this 100 zlotych banknote dated March 1, 1990. Although printed, these notes were not released into circulation due to security concerns and were later overprinted with "NIEOBIEGOWY" (non-negotiable) in red ink.

The obverse features the Town Hall in Poznań on the right and the national coat of arms on the left. The reverse displays a medieval seal on the left. The watermark consists of the national arms.
