The Banque de France issued the 100 francs banknote, known as the "Luc Olivier Merson" type, between 1923 and 1937. This series was introduced on November 29, 1923, with the first signatures of L. Platet and A. Aupetit. Subsequent signature combinations included L. Platet and P. Strohl from July 1, 1926, to December 29, 1932, and J. Boyer and P. Strohl from January 12, 1933, to June 30, 1937.
