The Danmarks Nationalbank issued the 10 krone banknote (Pick 44) between 1954 and 1974. This series was introduced to replace earlier designs and featured updated security features and artistic elements.
The front of the note displays a portrait of Hans Christian Andersen on the left, with white storks nesting on the right. The reverse features the Egeskov windmill located on the island of Fyn.
