Об этой банкноте

The Courantbank in Copenhagen issued the 1 Rigsdaler Courant banknotes between 1788 and 1804, during the reign of King Christian VII. In 1804, the bank added anti-counterfeiting text vertically on the right side of the notes to deter forgery.

The obverse features ornate decoration on the left, including a large "E" representing "Een" (one). The central area contains the promissory text and denomination, with handwritten signatures and an impressed royal coat of arms. The anti-counterfeiting text on the right warns that counterfeiters will be punished by loss of honor, life, and property, and offers a reward of 1,000 rigsdaler for information leading to the conviction of a counterfeiter.
